screen dimming

hello,
i was just wondering why when i'm playing any of the metal slugs on my super gun, anytime i shoot the shot gun or a blast from the tank will make my tv screen dimm really low and it slowly fades back in. i can deal with it untill i'm playing ms3 and i'm up in space blasting away, then it just gets frustrating.

Sounds like poor monitor power supply regulation, I would check the +B voltage.
A cap kit may help give your monitor a new lease of life.

Also correct setting of the screen voltage may help.
