Match vids with other members

I'm in the process of creating a little section on my site of match vids with other members on this board. Right now it's pretty small, and there isn't html for everything, but I'll do more as the days go by. You can check it out here - http://www.vgtab.net/xboxlive/

Right now the newest stuff I have uploaded is in the cvs2 section with a couple matches with dashk and garou[ryu]. I know I have some matches with JHendrix around here, and I'd like to get some cvs2 matches recorded with Kunai and some third strike matches recorded with fats, butta, cam, and kiun. Also, if you have any matches recorded from XBL play, shoot them my way and I'll post them up.

Seeing that Ken vs. Alex match makes me realize what a n00b I used to be in 3S. That cross up stomp shit was ridiculous.

LOL, that stomp shit online can be difficult in lag. That was just plain dirty

Wes I'd be more than happy to try and show for some vid shit, I usually play more flash than strat anyway. Why block a super when you can try and parry the whole thing? Send me a FR next time you see me on.

LOL! DashK is garbage! I have only downloaded the first wesvsdashk vid. I really wish that I had Xbox live...so that I could show my skills and play some of you guys. Good site there wes, I have bookmarked that site and will download all present and future vids.

wow I'm embarressed at how badly i lost those match's.......but in the second i accidently picked sakura which sucked but i was a savage beast that round with ryu.....dam i need an arcade stick i hate the xbox controller with a passion for 2d fighting games.....i would also like to note i did beat wes 1 or 2 matches out of like 14 lmao ( i just cant seem to get the double ect just defends and parries to work online) but i had alot of fun man and i like the challenge. :buttrock:

Yeah, not to be a prick or whatever cause I do understand that wes put those vids up there just to showcase the talents of people here, but you guys suck. lol DashK is the worst, does he just randomly throw shit out? lol Fucken retarded, I saw both wes matches vs. dashk and now I understand why he is scared to play people now. lol But I like how I dont see much top tier shit around though, shit wes brought out RUGAL.....lol something you dont see everyday. But seriously, why do you guys bust out supers without confirmation? makes no sense to throw supers out like that. Shit, I firmly believe that wes would of won better both matches had he not been so eager to attack, patience is great against scrubs...

BTW, I apologize wes if you dint want any critic. I just feel compelled to critic, I want to say more, but ill leave it at this for now.

Some of these are just for fun. Garou[ryu] did beat me once, but I started taping it in the beginning of our set so I didn't get it on tape, else I would've put it up as well (I'm not trying to whore it with my wins only). I'm not that great in CvS2 to be honest, but I like having fun playing it. I could never be a tourney level player because I can't sit the whole match with "gotta win gotta win gotta win" in my head. I love taking risks, making it fun for myself.

Still, with these videos keep in mind that there may be some lag, and some people are using controllers which they aren't used to. I'm using the big duke, and while I'm somewhat used to it, I often hit the triggers so random fierce punches and kicks come out sometimes. I'm sure other people have similar problems.

Anyway.. garou[ryu] is a good player. The only comments/critiques I'd give the guy is that he tries to parry/JD too much, and that isn't guaranteed online every time so he'd eat a lot of stuff he probably normally wouldn't offline/arcade. That, and almost every time he had a super ready I'd expect it within a few seconds. Other than that, good comp.

You should find a way of recording me and you playing KOF or ffs.

I understand, shit give me a control and I'll show you how I played when I first started. Sad. I forgot about the lag shit, but hey everyone gots their game. Shit you would probably own my ass in FFS. All I play is KOF and CvS2, cause thats what Im good at. Garou is decent, he should learn patience. But yeah good site man, looking forward to more vids.

I am a whore for just defending and parrying!!!!!!!!!! and yeah i should be more patient but if i dont keep agressive im in the corner and thrown all day :loco:

and when im playing really good players i tend to be in the corner allmost 3/4 the match and as songohan was saying the lag can be difficult to accomdate esspecialy when you need to do that dragon punch when your knocked down and the xbox controller is garbage for 2d fighter ( i need a fighting pad or arcade stick desperatly....any suggestions>>>>> :make_fac:

With the way you type, I imagine you as a little kid. lol But yeah, drop that garbage CS and get on CvS2 more...lol Get a stick IMMEDIATELY, no way in hell will you be any good with a pad, well maybe if you REALLY practice but I wouldnt recommend it then anyway. I use a X-Arcade and its pretty straight. When I meant patience, I didnt mean turtle and get owned. I meant know when to be aggresive and when not to. You jump into some stupidly obvious shit, not as stupid as DashK constant retardedass jumping. Wes fucken owend that fucker. Ill go help you out on your thread. :mr_t:

cs is not garbage best fps online on xbox imo, no fps will ever be as good as half life and all its mods the fighting games are fun but have latency issues that i think could be improved.........but everyone is entitled to their viewpoints

KOF wouldn't be a good idea cause I'm terrible in it, unless it's 95 or something. FFS would be really cool. It'd completely rock if we were able to record FFS matches straight from console play.

Right now I'm practicing Yamazaki. Hopefully some matches will be able to develop him more, as right now I'm kinda just practicing combos on cpu

I work Saturday 10 AM to 2 PM PST, but after that, I'll be available. Name your time and I'll play you. I can also play tomorrow after 5 PM PST.
