Hello everyone,
I purchased a used Mas System SUPER NOVA supergun. Everything is working great, but I have one problem--No wire for kick harness. The guy told me that it was cut and never used. I opened up the main unit and the wire were there but cut .

Is there anyone out there have any ideas on how I can build or add a kick harness? I am ok in soldering (but not a pro). Just need some ideas. I see alot of members on here who are excellent buliders of superguns. I am trying to avoid sending it back to MAS SYSTEMs.

I just want to play Ultimate MK3 :(

Any soultions?

Thanks for listening,
Darrick

if the wires for the kick harness where cut, you could just splice on some new wires if I'm not mistaken... all you'll need is the pinout and some wire... splicing is pretty simple... you could solder it, or crimp, whichever you prefer. Btw... most likely, it won't look as pretty on the inside if you do decide to splice new wires up.

Strange that the guy who sold it to you cut the wire (must only used it for neo games or sumting).

Anyway I would just get 6 extra wires and just splice them together with the cut wires as thats the easiest possible way.

check crazykong.com for a pinout...

Look up a manual for one of the Street Fighter CPSII games...

ok.. cps2 kick harness pinout.. I happen to have one handy...
9 - p2 heavy kick (button 6)
15 - p1 heavy kick (button 6)
17 - p1 med kick (button 5)
19 - p2 light kick (button 4)
21 - p1 light kick (button 4)
23 - p2 med kick (button 5)
29 - volume
30 - volume
31 - common ground for volume controls
33 - common p1 control ground
34 - common p2 control ground
I think this is right.
