I don't think the cartridge would change the pinout as long as it's on a neo... You're talking mvs (not home version) right? well... you can find a pinout for neogeo here http://homearcade.org/BBBB/mvsjam.html .

I believe he's asking about the port on the top of the MVS cartridge. This game (along with JGP) has an aux interface connector that fits a cable.

Have you by any chance worked out a way to get V-Liner and/or JGP to pay out cash? I've been after doing this for a while but have found no information to help me.

I misunderstood the original question, from what I understand Vliner is a gambling game running on mvs hardware (thats the reason its not supported in mame for what its worth)
The extra port is probably to drive a coin hopper or redemption coupon printer or something along those lines, thats my guess,

Riding Hero, League Bowling and Thrash Rally have a pair of 3.5mm stereo type jack sockets for hooking up multi cab play which is a cool feature, but the vliner additional socket on top of the cart is for a different purpose.

Regarding V-liner, the game is really of little interest to neogeo enthusiasts.

I have been speaking to somebody who can wire up V-Liner and JGP to coin hoppes so thatthey will pay out. He says he can make this so even with my CMVS so I have got to build a housing of sorts for it all to go into. I shall post back when I know more.

Hi Joe
Thanks for the feedback. It seems a waste of a mobbo to run a one armed bandit ?

If it paid out coins upon winning then I reckon it wouldn't be so much of a waste. A home fruit machine could be fun, plus it'd make me some money :)
I wouldn't entertain either V-Liner or JGP if there was no chance for a payout.
