naomi1 game issues

iam new to the naomi scene(got the sysem for 3day's) ...
i just got a naomi1 and a DOA2 cart...but the game only work's on the Test mode..and won't play on regular game mode?? can anyone point out the problem...
any help will be greatly appreciated

What does it do on normal play mode?

nothing it's stuck on the test mode screen
