Question about amperage on 1 slot MVS boards

The 2, 4 and 6 slots probably need a higher amperage to operate, but there are a few different 1 Slot boards.

I was wondering if the amperage is the same on all the 1 Slot Motherboards?

If not, what is the difference between them? And what would happen if hooked 1 up to a power supply with the wrong amperage?

The smaller 1-slots will draw more or less 1A. The measurements I got with a MV-1B were:

Aerofighters 2 0.75A
Blazing Star 0.82A
Metal slug 0.70A
Magician Lord 0.73A
Puzzle Bobble 0.77A

The only wrong thing about amperage is when it'0s too low...

I seem to recall the larger MVH-1 boards draws typically 3 amps (will have to dust the board down and check it out)

I saw on HardMVS that the MV1-FZ (which is a small board) draws 7A... Is that correct?

And what would happen if ut was hooked 1 up to a power supply set on 3A?
(I would think it won't boot up)

I would doubt the FZ would draw 7 amps, afaik the 6 slots draw the most current at 5 amps.
You need headroom also, I would use nothing less than a 10 amp in a cab, preferably 15A (which seems standard with arcade cab supplies.
Superguns are different because size is an important factor so a compromise between max supply current and physical dimention is an issue.
