Neo Geo CD random resetting?

Hello all .... aside from the NGPC I am fairly new to the SNK console realm and am having issues with a Neo CD I just bought.

I've only tried the one game I have so far (super baseball) but the console either resets it randomly during the game or fails to load it at all. Though I do have actual games enroute, this one is a backup I downloaded solely to test the machine.

Is this a common issue with the console, or could it be the CDR/burn? It was burned at 8X, iso+mp3.

If anyone could help it would be really appreciated. Thanks.
