well...I know there is info and I searched around and read a lot...but I just want a simple answer so here I go..

I got a naomi 1 mb and have two game carts...

I am planning on buying the capcom i/o board...

what else do I need to get it to play on a jamma cab?

I don't want the cd games...so nothing about that is needed.....just the things I need to get this thing running after I buy the stuff above.

So, I will have...Naomi 1 and games...and a capcom i/o board with cables...

what else just to play what I have?

thanks!

If you get the Capcom I/O with all wires, you don't need anything else to play the Naomi in a JAMMA cab. Your psu has to be a bit powerful though, possibly you'll have to tune-up a bit the +5V.

I was told two different things from two different people...

One said that the capcom i/o can use a sega psu and run a GD-Rom drive...with other said it can't...and only the sega I/O board could be added to later to run the GD-Rom drive...

which one is right...

The first one is correct, it is possible to use at the same time the Capcom I/O and a sega psu to run a GD drive. Some people say it is even possible to use the GD with just the power from the Capcom I/O, specially if you have a Naomi 2, but this will depend on your cab original psu and luck.

@Tody:

The naomi, as the atomiswave, has a switch to select low and hi-res. If you set it in low res, it will work in a regular cab. If you set it in hi-res, you need a special 31khz monitor.
However, there are many Naomi games that will look pretty bad in low-res. Actually, the manual mentions that some might not even have low-res available (I still haven't found any, and possibly only the ones that need a dedicated cab have this), or display a warning screen recommending you to use the hi-res mode if possible as otherwise the graphics quality will be very low, but still they would work (again, I still don't know of any game doing this).

it has vga inputs, but my atomiswave wouldn't work on it via supergun.

My Favorite TV due to the large screen size. I have 5 Sony Televisions. I love my SONY electronics, but somehow I am not a huge Playstation fan.

NGT - Yes a Sega PSU is required to run the GD-ROM with the Naomi one as per AJ with the capcom i/o.
