Zupapa! Europe?

Are these carts regionalised themselves? No matter which region I run my MVS in I always get Zupapa! Europe displayed in the softdips. Are there Japan and USA versions? I also get a green warning screen like with KOFs in USA mode, whatever region I'm in.

My Zupapa cart says exactly the same thing in the soft dip menu, "Zupapa Europe," and I've always wondered about it. I've also noticed that the game won't let player two join in when the system is in USA mode.
