Online co-op sounds interesting. Any more details about it?
What would you like to know?
The differences I noticed from the single player campaign were...
1. They removed the PDA email/code/locker shtick. Good move by VicariousVisions.
2. All cutscenes, save the last boss cut-scene, were removed. This hurts only if you hadn't experienced the single player campaign first, for the story.
3. In co-op you're given infinite lives. You die, you respawn at the beginning of the map (loaded section). This makes the co-op campaign extremely easy. But what does it matter? Your playing Doom 3 to "join in the goodness of killin' shit", not for the challenge.
4. Communicator sound and volume is sharp and crisp. No matter the distance between yourself and your teammate, communication is strong. The same goes for deathmatch and all four competitors. Trash talk to heart's content.
Setup is easy enough. Create a match, invite a friend, enjoy. Menus resemble SF:AC. Simple, not flashy in any way.
