Can it be done? The only doubt im having is the cart slot being a tad to big to even fit an MVs cart into. Can anybody test an MVS cart to see if it slides into an old style NES? All it needs is to just slide in a little, enough to contact the board cart connects. Thanks guys!

Does the board fit? You could mount an mv-1c maybe and cut hole in the top for the cart...not sure if it will fit though. Maybe have buttons under the nes door, where you flip it up and there's the pause, service, and test button? would be cool, imo :)

I thought about the buttons under the hood actually, but unfortunately, i traded my 1c for a 1b board. The whole NES consolizing motivation actually came from me seeing your excellent 1-c in a saturn. Beautiful.

Maybe you could put an MV-1C in a top loading NES and make it look good, but I think that top loading NES systems are much too small for an MV-1C, you could cut a hole in the top of a regular NES, or make the cartridge slot bigger for an MV-1B maybe. Maybe an old genesis or megadrive w/ an MV-1C, definitely not a genesis 3 or SNES.

Actually, a 1C might fit in an old-style SNES... you'd just need a bigger cartridge slot!
There isnt a chance in hell of it fitting in a top-load NES or the redesigned SNES (and who would sacrifice a top load NES anyway? That'd be just -wrong-)

Why would you want to put an mvs in an nes shell anyways?.... now converting an nes to play on jamma... THAT might be cool :drool_2: ... I'll bet it could be done!... but how?

It could probably be done but why would you want to?? I'd rather have one of the nintendo playchoice arcade systems that can hold like 10 cartridges at once. But it would still just be an NES, what's wrong with the TV for NES games?

I read somewheres that you can trick a PC10 to play nes games......

But PC 10 is kinda a waste of money. THosge games are frickin expensive nowdays.

Mame would be pretty simple , just run a 1Gig Eden board with a laptop hard drive, I have actually been thinking of doing exactly that with a Odyssey 3000 case.

As for a Jamma NES Im pretty sure it could be done pretty easilly ,doing a Playstation was simple enough.
