I had MKL perform an RGB mod on my AES system last year. I was really blown away by the picture I got out of my system. But shortly after, I moved from the Netherlands to the United States.
Now as we all know, there are simply no tv's with RGB input available here. I already bought a new HDTV for watching dvd's and playing modern consoles on. But it simply looks very pixelated and crappy using the neo-geo with composite out (which was to be expected).
Now I'm looking for a solution here. Either a converter that will convert the RGB signal to component, so at least the picture is more clear, but probably still very pixelated seeing the tv has a line-doubler built in.
Or I could look into buying a 15khz RGB monitor for Neo-Geo use only! I prefer the size of the screen to be around 25" diagonal. And of course reasonably priced.
I will appreciate any help I get!
