So let me put you in check Simone. I bought my Magical Drop II kit for $60.00, I think you should sell it for no more than that.

You can confirm this too. The seller's name is javaro on Ebay.

Sure thing.
I paid Magical drop 2 kit $120+ shipping from south Italy.
Magical drop 2 kit is MORE valuable than last blade 2 kit.
It does much better in arcades and it is the first I manage to get since none of the operators willing to let it go until now

You see,you should try to understand that:
I pick up my kits here
I don't make it to make a living but to trade with games I want and some time to sell it when someone asks.

Las blade 2 kits I got ,I gave one to 2 friends of mine here in Italy.

Of course they were given for what I paid.

Next 2 kits of Last blade 2 ,one will be for a member of this board, friend of mine.

Simone,

If you have offered these type of trades to me a LONG time ago, I would've kept doing business with you, but let's get for real, it just doesn't happen.

How can you say that a Magical Drop II kit is more valuable than a Last Blade 2 kit? Is this an opinion or a fact?

I don't think many people here would pay anything more than $150.00 for a MD II kit, whereas, I can name over 15 people who will pay more than $250.00++ for a Last Blade 2 kit.

Wasn't it your guideline for the AES price guide to take the average of what people are willing to pay to bring you to the price that you put in the guide?

I then propose to you, I will trade you my Magical Drop II kit, and I will ask two other friends of mine that has it as well, and we will trade for 3 Last Blade 2 kits. This would be towards your benefit Simone, as you see it, so you should have no problems, correct? Anytime you are ready, I am willing.

Can we agree that your speaking of MONETARY value and I told you I gave the kits to 2 friends of mine who needed it?
I have around 10 friends collecting mvs stuff here in Italy and it is not about the money.
They won't trade even a common loose cart for your drop 2 kit, since they reason to add one piece when it is possible, nothing giving away.

2 of them do need magical drop 2 kit,but they do not have the money and told me I can sell it.
Now I got some offers for the drop 2 kits,2 for more than $150,NOT from registered member of this board since as you know well I'm sure, many collectors are not registered here.

I'm sorry about our relationship.
You know well what happened and never could be fixed.

I'm sure you have a nice and great collection.

Last blade 2 can be worth $700 for you and all mvs US colectors,I don't say a word.

I say JUST facts: when I find them,I pay LESS than Metal slug kits or drops kits SINCE Last Blade 2 is NOT working is the arcades.

It is called from the operatprs JUNK,since none plays it.

Again, mvs market is for me real life market.
Of course your collecting value for LB 2 can be correct.

But if I had sold to my friends 2 last blade 2 kits for $500 each, what would my life get better in?

Better to have real friends .

Your friends shouldn't change the value of the kits. Again, there is a buyer's price and a seller's price.

Let's make it simple. Is the AES price guide based on the buyer's or seller's price from your calculations?

You tend to contradict yourself over and over again. You say it's not about the money, but then you devalue the prices I put up for the kits on the other post, then you say that you don't sell them for the lower price you quoted, but a higher price, because you have fun riding your motorcycle, which costs money and time. So what is it?

If your friends are willing to sell their Last Blade 2 kits, I will offer them each $200.00. That's $100.00 more than what you charged them.

I can send payment through Western Union, in your currency, the way you prefer it. I will give you my Fed Ex account number to express it to me as well.

Of course your prices for slug kits are not correct.
I said "I" disagree since I pay them more,it's in that way about the money, not about the profit.

I use my motorbike NOT only for my pleasure.
I explain that to you:
IF I call on the phone an arcade operatpr,he will tell me they do NOT sell anything.
WHY? Why arcade operators RENT game for business use, they do NOT sell to private persons.

IF I go there in person,I have the chance to get them to sell after speaking with them and introduce myself as a collector who has passion and so on,but if I'm lucky I get something.

I have a very good friend who I didn't manage to see when I was in Italy and he knows I found one operator whp has a proto game for neo geo.
He is not willing to give it to me since he does NOT sell ANYTHING,even if it is only collecting dust.

Again Simone, I'm looking for 3 Last Blade 2 kits. Willing to trade 3 Magical Drop II kits or pay $200.00 each for them myself. I will then resell these to other members of neo-geo.com, because I love them. :o

I can assure you that if I put up my Last Blade 2 kit on Ebay for $400.00 reserve and a Magical Drop II for $400.00 reserve, which one would meet it's reserve?

We should take a poll. I think it's an interesting topic.

Anyone willing to pay $400.00 for Magical Drop II kit? I have one for sale.

You are still mixing different quotations.
I wrote always to explain what kits are worth when I pick them up from operators.

You are speaking from a collector point of view.

Is it now clear? Hope yes.

Magical drops, metal slugs are wat much more pricey to get than Last Blade 2.
None played Last blade 2 and it was a bad investment for operators, since it didn't work from the beginning, players preferring spending their money on Kof games and metal slug series.

You're on the wrong board Simone. We're collectors here...NOT arcade operators.

Good night.

Hey.

Simply SHUT UP NOW.

The last blade serie was the biggest flop of the european neogeo mvs market fro a fighting game.
Nobody played it.
I bought 2/3 pieces of the first episod complete for 4/50 usd.
some friends bought it for 60 usd the second episod maxi

Magical drop 2 in european version is pretty rare.
I don't see very often complete.

IF BONUSKUN OR TRIEU can have it for 60/65 usd, i can buy 5 pieces now.

IF you don't know the value of a kit, just shut up.
European market is not a little mvs collector market.
don't care abut 100 members of a website ready to spend 400 usd in a last blade 2 kit.

That little neo-geo.com mvs complete market represent 0.001 % of the REAL MVS MARKET.
The ebay mvs complete market reresent 0.05 % of the EAL mvs market.
Don't always say bullshits if you DON T KNOW WAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.

I have nothing against trieu or bonuskun

But if you don't know the european mvs market except the 3 annual games you buy in europe from ebay, the best is SHUT UP.

Pardon? Why am I needing to Shut Up about the European market when I didn't say anything about it in the 1st place?

If he can get Minty Fresh Last Blade II mvs kits @ a great price, more power to him. I don't personally care about this feud too much seeing as I know trying to reason with FTL is like running into a Brick Wall.

You just can't win an arguement with him even if you're 100% right. S'ok tho I just decided I'd rather watch than dive in totally but, I won't shut up for you sir or anyone because I have a right to speak here as much as FTL or Treu does. :)

There are many MVS titles that are rare in MVS kit format simply because arcade operators don't care for the box nor the graphics, which they normally throw out.

As you say Mathieu, since you know the value of Last Blade 2 and it did so poorly over there, does this mean that it's not worth that much and it's not hard to find? Take no offense, I'm simply asking a question.

If this is the case, I will make a trade with you. I can get you 3 or 4 complete Magical Drop II kits and I'll trade them for Last Blade 2 kits.

The buyer that I bought my Magical Drop II kits from at the time had 4 of them in stock. I could've bought all 4 if I wanted to, but only needed one for my collection. Just because Last Blade 2 didn't perform well in Europe, doesn't mean that it's easy to find as a kit. There is no relation.

I'll even make a more generous offer to you or anyone else for Last Blade 2 kits. If you can find 5 or 6 pieces too, I will pay you $200.00 each, which I think should be worth your time. I know there are over 20 members on this board that would be willing to pay that much for the kit, so it wouldn't be hard to sell.

I think I know the value of the kits pretty well, thank you. I know how much Europeans pay for certain titles that the U.S. market does not have many of, which is very low in cost, but if this is the case of knowing the value, why do you guys charge us, U.S. people 4 times the amount then (like Pop 'N Bounce)? Oh, it's because you want to make a profit and know what WE value them at.

Again, it's not about the price at what you BUY them for all the time, it's what you sell them for. It's the SELLING price, not the "COST" of the item. I hope I made this clear enough.

Just my opinion: I bought a lot of new mvs kits in my country, most of the operators only look at the year it was produced, and if it is a big name title. I bought about 10 complete Dodgeball kits for only 20 usd, just because nobody wants them in their arcade. Operators just don't know any value. They will charge $250 for zupapa made in 2001 and only $25 for a rare older kit like ragnagard, turf masters etc. Metal Slug, kof are still expensive because they know those games are popular and there are dc and psx versions...

Damn i don't even remember how to post...LOL..

anyway, not to bug in or anything, i was just cruzing by....

I had like 10 members in here asking me all the time, to sell my LB2, wich by the way was hard for me to find it, even with friends that run a couple of an arcades,
and i was lucky to find the 2 i have well, actually 1 now, and even at one point i was offer 5+ LB2 kit's from a vendor in Japan, but then find out it was only loose carts and marquees, i even got some MD2 and MD3 kit's but only one of each, it's true people jump on them like flies to........what ever, but when i finally decided to offer one of the LB2 kit's up from grabs, People email me like crazy, even from collectors not on this forums, but that still read here and there, to be honest i was in shock to get that type of offers i was getting $500-$600-$700
but when the time came for me to say, fine, i'll take the $700, what happend, they all gave me the same excuse, (sorry, but i have no money left)
4 people gave me that excuse and 2 didn't even care to write me back.
Right then i decided to just sell it to a true collector, not worried to much about the money i was making, after all i was making cash regardless since i only pay $40 for it, YES that's how much i paid for it, my friend that run the arcade who i got that LB2 kits didn't care to much about it and he just though it was old anyway.
Anyway, i was just glad i sold it to a really cool member of this board, and i personally dropped of the kit, and boy was it a great pleasure to meet this great guy in person.
A true collector who's always willing to help people finish there collection and was not in this business for the CASH....

My 2 yen...
NOW you people are wondering WHAT THE HELL is he talking about????/
shit i my self don't even know... <img src="graemlins/loco.gif" border="0" alt="[Loco]" />
but while i'm at it, let me just tell you this, I have a complete US LB2 kit that will hit ebay one of these days so look it up, and i hope this time another great collector get's to pick it up, and not just someone who will do nothing but make cash on it....

OH YEAH no Reserved so you guys decide how much is worth........
