I have an AES, but it doesn't work. This is a picture of what I get with and without the bios and with ot without a cart inserted:

Is it just a new bios that's needed?

That looks like the problem I get when I'm installing a unibios and I've got a bad contact or a bridged trace. Has it had a new bios installed? Maybe check the traces around the bios for signs of damage or bridged traces.

The one thing I find quite confusing about that pic is the blue color that appears in the background. Can you confirm you get that blue color with and without the Bios in?

When I get some more solder I'll give it a go. In the meantime, I'm selling it off as scrap, so if anyone wants to make me an offer...

OK, I reinstalled the bios and still have the same problems. I'll post pics and maybe video in the next 24 hours.

Drop me a line if you would like someone to take a look at it and possibly repair it. I can give you a free estimate. All I ask is that if you decide not to fix it after I look at it, you just cover the return shipping.

Generally, if it's something that can be fixed, I try to keep the repair costs at a minimum -- I don't like returning dead Neo systems.

The only problem is the shipping buddy. Being in the UK, it's not worth the cost just in case the system is unrepairable.
