Need information on Consolized MVS slots

Ok, so my AES is sitting there collecting dust right now, and i want to get back into Neo so fucking bad but i cant afford these homecarts. So ive been told numerous times to get a consolized MVS slot. but i know NOTHING about that stuff. So if i just pick up a consolized slot and some MVS carts, am i just ready to go and play? or do i need some specail stuff to connect to my tv? thanks for the help guys...not sure if this is even the right section

what sort of inputs does the tv have ?

i have front audio video and back s-video.

Most CVMS units will have an S-video output. The only thing your might have to buy is a power supply.

This one works pretty well, and I know it has the juice to at least run a 4-slot. This thread gives detailed info on it:
