Hi guys. I need to know what the pinout would be to connect my jamma harness to my old amiga monitor. Because I don't know the pinout, I don't want to fudge it up... on the old amiga cable there are 6 wires: pin 1-red, 2-black, 3-clear, 4-clear, 5-clear, and 7-white. My jamma harness has 5 wires : video red, video ble, video green, com sync, and video ground... I don't really know what pins to put these in, and if you could help, I would appreciate it very much.

Has anyone ever tried this with an apple IIgs RGB monitor? I bought one before I got a RGB to NTSC encoder to use with my supergun. Now, I'm thinking it's be good for a mini cab (i think it's 11 inches). I havn't seen the picture quality yet, I need to get a DB-15 connector w/ solder cups first.

The apple IIGS monitor has seperate red, green, and blue grounds. One schematic I found said to just connect all three of these to common ground. And wire each color and sync straight thru.

Another said to use standard RGB with a IIGS I would need to put 220pF cap on each of the RGB lines, as well as connect each line to common ground, and connect each line to it's own respective ground(red ground, blue ground, and green ground).

Which is correct? Wouldn't the second one be better but isn't a 75ohm resistor normally between the main color line and the common ground?

Then there is this http://www.ionpool.net/arcade/tech/monitor_test_bench.pdf
arcade to computer monitor says to wire all the separate grounds together to common ground, and use 220pf cap. If trouble syncing run 47ohm resistor from sync to ground.

I know Nightmare Tony had a couple of these, you out there?? maybe i'll pm him.

Got several replies from Nightmare Tony, he says wire it straight through RGB, sync, and connect common ground to just 1 of the indv. RGB grounds. I hope this monitor looks as good and clear as Tony says it does.

Sorry I sort of hi-jacked this thread. Guess I should have started a new one.
