MVS Problem

I have a 2-slot MVS with the lastest unibios revision. While playing WW7, the alot of numbers appeared on the screen then the system went into MVS test mode. I restarted my system and now it is stuck in test mode. All dip switches are in the off position (except for dip 7). When I restart the system, I no longer get the Splash Screen ..... system defaults to the test mode. I am running an MV2B board via a Sigma Supergun. Any help I could get would be greatly appreciated.

Do you get test mode or crosshatch?

Does it happen just with WW7 or with everygame?

Is the WW7 a boot?

Norton,

First let me say thanks to you for replying.

1) Do you get test mode or crosshatch?

I get the cross hatch screen with or without a game and it cycles through cross hatch, memory card test, calendar etc by pressing the start button.

2) Does it happen just with WW7 or with everygame?

It happens with every game. I dont even get the unibios splash screen anymore.

3) Is the WW7 a boot?

No. I just bought this one from Big Bear

I hope this info helps

Just a shot in the dark:

Try cleaning all of your carts and the connectors....

Try reseting the memory.

Yup, clean all contacts, basically the bios is not seeing any games in the system.
