House I've got is almost 100 years old, and it needs to be sealed. The basement walls are cinder block. Do any of you know what this will cost on average?

I will say that this is the craziest topic I have ever seen, even with Classicmode's
Penis.

Even after we give him specific info he'll still email the company to confirm.

I think he means seal the walls from dampness, like turn it into a proper room or something.

If im right we are in the process of doing ours too, but since we have a drain system in ours it will cost more since we either have to get that moved or buy an expensive "on all the time" pump.

Then after that you can seal the walls with a coating system or just have it painted with a damp course paint and have the walls plastered.

Since our Basement/Cellar is a War bunker we may need other shit doing for size measures etc.

We plan to use this UK based company... http://www.cellarseal.com/
Not sure how you go on about it in the US.

EDIT: Cost is about £5,000 UK Pounds for our basement, thats implying a proper job, not some cheap ass fat builder to pretend its done.

Are you sure they are cinderblock?

What size? I'm assuming 8"

If you have a jackhammer, a few tons of slag and a few tons of concrete, its easy, but hard work.

Where is the leak?

Around the footer?

Foundation?

Be more specific and I can help j00

Yes, it most certainly is cinderblock.

There are a few cracks from age. We need to seal it from water as well as help keeping out rodents. The cracks here and there around the foundation.
