Anyone else importing Rumble Fish?

I had the atomiswave version of this for awhile...got rid of it not too long ago. I liked the game alot and the PS2 version has some extras on it. Anyone else picking this up?

Yeah, probably. I had a lot of fun with it in the arcades when it first came out. I like the character design and the combo engine is really loose, so I reckon I'll get it.

Well, yeah.....I caught myself playing KOF '03 a helluva lot more than RF....the math spoke for itself [KOF '03=$60, RF=$600] that extra zero and the fact that my shmup craving had gone up considerably....it had to go. Plus, atomiswave is no technical marvel, there is no reason the PS2 port can't keep up with the original, it even has more characters.

I thoght you said at the time of selling the AW cart thats it was played like a few times or somthing, sounds like you put it on & got bored straight away?

as far as single-player goes...yeah. Then I tried getting some other games [Demolish Fist, Dolphin Blue] The system put me to sleep. I liked Rumble Fish, just not enough, considering what I paid for it.

I also had the ATW version, liked it pretty well, but then traded it (for Neowave). I may pick up the PS2 version, but I am more interested in seeing if the price drops at all on the ATW cart after the PS2 version releases. Granted, the PS2 release of Guilty Gear Isuka didn't do much to lower the price of that cart, but I'm still curious. I'd pick it up again in a hearbeat if it drops anywhere close to $200-$225.

Yes, I've preordered it as well. Just curious, has anyone seen art of the second new character? I know Sheryl from Rumble Fish 2 is in, but on the PS2 official site, however, the second new character is still just a shadow...
