psu for 6 slot mvs (uk)

I'm about to start consolizing a six slot mvs, but I've no idea what psu would be suitable for it.

is there anyone who would know what would work and it's availabilty?
just to be awkward, I live in the uk, and don't really want to have to use a step-down power converter.

Maplins have one on special offer at the moment for £9.99..this outputs 12v and 5v..it is rated at 50watts so should be fine...

You need to do a whole bunch of research. I'd avoid consolising a 6-slot if you don't even know how to power it. Start with a 1 or 2-slot.

as for the 6 slot being the, ah... more adventurous mvs to consolize, fair point.

as is, I have a 6 slot and would rather consolize it rather than just clip a supergun on.

I do know that the 6 slot requires a bit more juice than any of the other boards (5.2A being the general concensus here) but my efforts to find an appropriate psu have been fairly unsuccessful.

I guess I was simply hoping that someone would say "yeah, you need blah, and here's where you can get it"

oh well, back to the saltmines I suppose.
