I'm gonig to be putting on a new overlay to my super turbo cab, and I'd like to know if I should get rid of the current one (the standard capcom SFCE overlay), or just put the overlay right on top of it? Ideas?

fatal fury fan #2 said:its best to take it off and put the new on on

Spike Spiegel said:Lighter liquid? Explain like I'm retarded 'cause I don't know what I'm doing. I'm THIS close to going over the old overlay. Is that a sin? Would that be really stupid of me? Honestly, tell me what to do here.![]()
FeelGood said:yes he is. lighter fluid is supposed to be a good anti adhesive. let it soak in there then the old decal should clean off rather easy and its easy cleanup.
i would only bother if ur cab is mint though. too much work if the old overlay is clean and smooth then id just overlap if youre certain it wont show through the new one.
edit: btw i dont know how lighter fluid would work if the overlay is over untreated particle board. not sure if the wood would recover if it gets soaked with fluid.
