Help! Just got a KI2 board

Hey,

I have my ki2 board all set up and it works great, except for the kick buttons. Where do i plug in the kick harness or how do i set it up with just the jamma connection so it see the connections? Is there a website for any other tech q's that I may have in the future on this special arcade board and HD?

Buttons 4, 5 and 6 (kick buttons) can be wired directly from the button contacts to the 'kick harness'. As for the exact location of the connector on the BOARD FOR THE HARNESS, I'm sorry I can't be of more help.

Here's a pic of the thing, maybe one of these two sections will be the Kick-Harness connector.

Which one of those red arrows is the receptor for the kick harness?

The kick harness goes on the first connector on the side with the hard drive connector. It's the one closest to the JAMMA connector, and it's right next to the dip switches.

I believe that's the one he means. The one at the very bottom right hand corner, next to the little red boxes with white slip-switches.


Sorry that my tip was off, I thought it was one of those two, but I didn't know which one for sure.

Thanks for the help Reznor! I'm getting a KI board pretty soon, so now I'll know, lol.
