I've got the adventures of little ralph as an ISO on my laptop. It's ok. Nothing extraordinary. Real simple platformer.

Another obsure PSX game to check out is Panzer Bandit. (banpresto) No Guardian Heroes (or so I'm told) but still fun to play. Has a neat little basic combo system.

Kind of confused why they have a pic from Lunar: The Silver Star on a gamelist that doesn't mention that particular game...

Playstation has a bigger and at least as good 2D library than the Saturn, most consoles ever even, except the obvious Capcom ports.

Ive played most (if not all I forget) of those, some pretty keen games

Gussun Oyoyo is dope. I have it for Saturn (and just mentioned it in the Saturn thread). I haven't play Ore no Ryori yet, but I've been meaning to get that for years.
Harmful Park is supposed to be good, but I probably won't find out since it's a $100 game

Finally Umihara Kawase is a very good game. I've only ever played the SNES version but it's highly fun.

Yeah, the PSone has a very decent 2d library, other nice (and exclusive!) games not mentioned here yet are Advanced V.G. 2 and Gunners Heaven.

And it also got ports of the original Cotton and Cotton 100%! :)

I've got the DC bootleg port of Harmful Park and I found it to be incredibly mediocre. *shrugs*

Agreed, it seems to be a bastion of hardcore PS fans last stand, much like 4mb Saturn port whores.

There's much more worth stuff out there on both machines as opposed to the modern wank the kids are fed about their supposed great"RETRO" machines.
