They are giving everyone new computers. The problem is that they are getting them in like 15-20 unit shipments. We are like a 500 person department. They are starting with people with shitty outdated PCs then working on everyone else. These have DVD burners and 21in LCDs. I want one now. Whats a good way to fuck up my current PC in a way that looks like some sort of random breakdown. That or I can drop kick it.

Can you open the case without being noticed or seen by anyone ? If so, jam the CPU fan with something. Something that looks natural of course, large lent ball would be perfect.

On the back of the PC.
By the Power supply.
Their is A switch.
It is red. (if you have one)
It should be set @ 115.
Flip it to 220.
Then flip it back.

P.S. I don't know if this will actually do anything but it's worth A shot.

dude don't bother doing jack as far as opening up the computer/flipping switches go. just make sure the thing is on and splash a lil water into the rear of the case.

Start ---->Run--->Regedit

Just start randomly changing string values & deleting entire key strings.
The windows Registry is like it's brain stem...Fuck with it enough & it dies.
Just remember to reboot each time you fuck with it.

that's an idea, but I think they'd just replace the power supply since noother component will be damaged
guess best thing to do is via software, for example downloading and installing a bugged driver, firmware and such

Open up the PC and find the CPU fan, make sure it's off before you do this or something.

Is it a Dell machine? Bout how old?

Basic method is to disconnect the power source for the CPU fan. That or if you can see the actual fan then just like stick the wires in there somehow or something that prevents it from spinning.

Don't let anyone see you, leave no evidence.

Be careful though, there are case alarms and sensors in many work-office PC's that I've taken apart.

IE: if you open the case up and then close it the pc speaker will beep when it's turned on next. ;) It's not a soft beep either. ;)

You might want to jamb up the power supply fan.

That's simple, Whilist you are fucking around with the insides of said computer just make sure to rip out the PC speaker's wires.

Try making an adaptor that connects the +5v on the USB/keyboard/mouse/VGA port to the Ground on the headphone jack.... Try it on the motherboard and on the cd rom...

Just a suggestion...

bring a windows CD, boot with it and launch FDISK
then delete partitions and reboot

you will get a non system disk or disk error at boot, when they try to install windows it will say there is no partition etc

if you have access to the BIOS of your computer, change the voltage to much higher levels of much lower levels. It should make it verry verry unstable, take several attemps to switch it on etc.

hardware wise, without opening, plug a pen in your power supply opening to kill the fan. The security will make it switch off after few seconds/minutes.

Shit on your computer's chest and it will be rendered powerless, especially considering that you pile probably dwarfs most grizzly bear's.

P.S. Unplug it if you've got the squirts.
