I got this built for me by a dude goes by the name of Dreaded Fist over at SRK.

Happ competition buttons and stick.

What a great graphic for the top of the stick, artwork from the fucking DADDY of all fighters, SSF2X no less. That's quite impressive man...I'd love to buy one just like it.

I'm sure he'd build you one, I still have the artwork saved in pdf, I might have it hosted still, I'll have to look.

$85 for the stick with happ parts
$15 for the plexi and art (you can make whatever custom art you want)
$15 for shipping.

Stick works great, just gotta break it in and adjust to it a bit more. I had him wire it up to work with the db15 mod on the xbox pad so I can still use voice with xbl.

edit: he also makes sanwa sticks, they're a little smaller and little more expensive. $90 plus the cost of the sanwa buttons and stick. I might get one of those next.

Absolutely fucking awesome. And at $100 + shipping, it looks like you got one hell of a deal.

What boards/systems do you use it for? Could your man rig it to work on, say, an X-Box and a PS2, or would an adapter be necessary?

Well I have a modded xbox pad that has a db15 connector sticking out the back of it. This stick is wired up with a db15 cord to work with that. So for me at least it'll be used with xbl and romz on xbox, but if there's xbox to other system converters out there, it should in theory work. I think I have a usb to xbox converter around here, I should test it out on the laptop.

Cool, Butta, thanks. I could go with a simple adapter and then it would work on VF4 and Tekken 5, too.

I still have my Soul Calibur 2 stick,and it's universal, but I wouldn't mind trading up to such a high-quality, custom piece like that one sometime soon.

I'm kind of making my little "to buy with tax refund" list, and this goes to the top.

Just a regular post over at SRK enough to get Dreaded Fist's attention, I'm guessing? Tell him Buttasuperb gave him a top recommendation?

First post has pricing and instructions on how to order. I thought I read he might be taking a break from making them, but I doubt it would be for that long.

Most of the sticks he makes are for psx, I'm sure there are converters for just about anything for that. That's the best route to go without having that xbox pad mod.

haha I know you would say that. Anyway whats the size of that poster ? Just wondering as I would probably start hunting one down if its B2 sized (21 x 28).
