Just curious...been shopping around for a couple new shmups [UNSUCCESSFULLY], the screenshots of this one look nifty.

is that in-game dialogue? Or is there an in-joke I am missing?

I take it the game is pretty gewd though?

In game dialouge from the intro and teh ending.

I was really impressed with the first two boss fights but everything after that was average.

I love Akuu Gallet, very cool graphics and gameplay. And I love the medaling system. It's a must have shooter IMO, I had my buddy in Japan pick me up a PCB last year, it can be had pretty cheap over there and that's with an artset. Banpresto has put out some very good arcade titles over including Mazinger Z, Bishojo Senshi Sailor Moon, Macross Plus...

I have a friend going to Japan in the next few weeks. Where can I tell him to go to find arcade PCBs??? [i might need to post this question in unrelated as well]

G-Front and MAK Japan would be your best bet.

Both shops are located in Akhibarra. One is on the second floor and the other is on the 3rd (seperate buildings). They are incredibly cool stores that seriously make you wish that you had more money that you carry!
