it feels so loose! its got a combo meter though haha.

I remember playing this 10 years ago in 1995. I don't remember for what system it was for but it was pretty funny with the Mortal Kombat-esque sprites. The supers get +10 humor and style pts.

Some guy was playing this at the Club Sega today in Akiba. I was surprised that a) someone was playing it, and b) they still had SF:TM cabs set up.

On a more-or-less-unrelated note, I got to play "Fighting Layer" today. It's a 3D fighter joint-produced by Namco & Arika, and it was released way back in 1998.

One of the characters was Blair from Street Fighter EX. SF:EX was released in '96, so I'm guessing she was a SF character first before she made her FL debut.

Well, all can I say about FL is that it's a total SF:EX clone, but with much nicer backgrounds and graphics. It's the same six button set-up, and Blair plays almost exactly the same as she does in SF:EX- same supers, same specials etc.

It was a neat little game- too bad it never got a port. I wonder what hardware it was running on.

I was unfortunate enough, due to the availability of decent titles, to own this game when the PS was first released. I traded in Battle Arena Toshinden cause I thought it was way too easy and bought SF: TM thinking "hey it's Street Fighter, it can't be that bad". Oh my, how wrong I was, disappointed was not the word.

OMFG!!! I own the saturn port and at least it's playable. What the hell is up with the arcade version. After playing a few rounds i was in utter amazement. Sagat's tiger punch actually growls and he can remove his eye patch which some how stuns his opponents. Chunli has a move where she jumps on her opponent and proceeds to what appears to be deliver a bitch slapping. One stage is a pit which looks directly ripped from MK along with ehonda chained up in the background. If you finish off your opponent with a super their life bar explodes. I've only scratched the surface of this dud and am afraid to dig any deeper. :eek:
