Nintendo has always been smart...

The were wise to wait to go optical. They waited until load times were a non-factor and until they could nearly squash piracy.

Now that online play is getting near prefection, they are looking to embrace it. Netplay is nealry 10 years old. We have come a long ways from the old BBS and Kaleria days.

It's better to work on innovative gameplay ideas and let the other companies waste thier time on upcomming buggy technologies.

And the zelda gameplay would have to absolutely suck to tank that game.... It really puts Microsoft and Sony to shame. Really puts a whole in the people who always trash the gamecube for not having enuogh quality titles.

The new Zelda on GC looks wonderfull ! (and i don t care online wifi, i have no access point)

wireless lan will be cool if you can gather up somewhere (Revolution will have VGA, composite and DVI connection iirc)

I try sticking with Nintendo, but even I'm getting tired waiting for them to do the next big thing. Let's hope it's with this that they pull out of their funk they're in.

I don't know if I'd call this "good news". It's the bare minimum I was expecting when I bought a DS.
Animal Crossing online? meh. I was hoping more for PSO. Mario Kart online would be nice, though.
And they'd better beef up the game library...it looks very meager.

I mean...Nanostray isn't coming out till early summer, as of the current schedule.

Zelda '05 looks like my wildest game dreams come true, though

I don't think I've ever been anticipated a game more...

It should, thats all hot spots are really. Any thing that lets you connect to the internet wirelessly should let you. (USB ones are out, hopefully those work)
