Namco arcades closeing down

I went by local Namco arcade today and the doors were shut and the lights were cut off and all of the machines were up on dolly's and moved all around. I asked at the store next door if they were remodeling the arcade and he said no that they were closing it down for good and putting a dollar store in there.

The only arcade left in town was a Namco Arcade, and they split about a year ago on us, too. How gay that the best arcade in town is in my own fuckin' house.

And to think they ran out Aladin's Castle to put that shit hole up, only for it to leave. My town now has NO arcade. None.

I can definitely relate to that. With any luck we will see a few more advancements in online playability which will make more viable multiplayer options for those of us who miss the competition of another person who plays a game as much as we do.

To bad that nobody can come up with a Xband style modem for the AES or MVS.

Meh, online play will never be as much fun as playing people face-to-face. With fighting games, SF 3 in particular, the tiniest little bit of lag just ruins it for me. Anyway, that's pretty sad. The Tilt in my old hometown just shut down a few months ago. Now the only place for losers like me to hang out is on the internet.

there used to be a sega city near me that was pretty cool for fighting cades. there a dave and busters which i believe is a bar/arcade or something. and a nickel! nickel! nickel! arcade 2 blocks from me thats been in buisiness about 6 years now. never been in it though i think its a hangout for emo faggots and fat girls who think its punk to scream and yell when they talk.

oh yeah and they also charge a $5 cover to get in, or at least they did when it first opened and i checked it out. i told them to suck my tiny cock and left.
