My department doesn't have so-called yearly performance review but have % raise each year.

I had a short review (not official) last February and that's about it. Later I had two bosses but they all resigned within 2004.

Right now our company President's son becomes my boss and he'll give me a performance review this Friday afternoon.

How can I prepare for it? He doesn't know much about our department so I have my doubt about the way he does my review.

Or does it mean I might lose my job?

Stay positive and don't go in ther demanding a raise. Demanding a raise is a quick way to turn people off.

For the past couple days I've received 8 emails regarding time changing for my review........WTF?

How hard is it to do my review???

Exactly. But even with the 2% raise he's still making less than everyone else in the office because he's Mexican.

Good news is I got regular 2% raise as usual.
Bad news is company "forces" me to leave in 6 months or transfer to sales position.

Well, it's better than lay me off right away but I'll need to start looking for a new job.
