I noticed that many members reside in the great nationstate of Argentina. I always wanted to know how it would feel to live at the bottom of the world. How's life over there? What the hell exactly happened to the economy? Do many citizens feel more european than south american(I dont think argentinians could be called latinos)? I always heard the aregentinians were snobby bastids who looked down on the rest of south america, is it true? How's the economy now, the job market? Contesten! Do any of you have that sorta spanish accent?

Life is good, if you have money. If you are part of the 48% of the population that is below the poverty line, life is hell.

Argentina is a land where corruption is part of the people. People only think about themselves, on how to make more money, and how to take advantage of others. No one cares about the next guy, especially when there's money involved. You'll see corruption in cab drivers trying to make you pay more by driving slowly or going through traffic jams, and you'll see people at the government stealing millions. Corruption is everywhere. Just check the tragedy at "Cromañon", that alone is the mirror of what Argentina is.

Nah... it's trendy to be a "Sudaca". Everyone loves to be anti-Bush, anti-McDonalds, anti-USA, anti-capitalism... people are stupid and too trendy.

Overall... yes... people here look down on most of South America. Everyone here thinks they are the most clever and that they know how to take advantage of the ignorance of the rest of South America.

The Economy is getting better with time... accent? No accent, but people here have their typical words or phrases like the famous "Che", and others.

Mushiki pretty much hit the nail on the head on everything.

As much as Ive been raised in Canada, I plan to move back there next year. Ièm from Santa Fe which would be the Canadian equivalent of Sakatchewan or American equivalent of Nebraska but I enjoy life more there than here.

Of course, I have investments that wouldnèt put me in the same class as most Argentinians so of course, life there is great with money.
