Well, the SA2 B-day pack can be had for under $65 at many online retailers, I'm sorry to say...

As for Christmas NiGHTS, you're a bit out of line there, too. Try $20.

Not sure about the others..

Number one, the Japanese versions of XMas NiGHTS and BR go much cheaper than their US counterparts. And number two, the US versions go less for what you're offering as your JPN copies.

What I'm selling here are brand-new factory fresh collector items.

If you can find some others in the same condition and lower price, well power to you. :)

US version (which I also own) of those games are just crap when coming to collection.

Not to be a jerk or anything, but...

First of all, I REALLY hate it when people yell at someone else's prices, when it's down in the $50 range. Just don't buy it, and save your breath for the real problems (like $2000 copies of Metal Slug...those people should be beat up).

However...

On the issue of Japanese/U.S. value differences, I'd like to say that most SEGA software in the Saturn era has a better U.S. release. Sure, you miss out on some of the extras, but the U.S. Saturn releases went through an extra bout of beta testing, all around. Cleaner graphics, tweaks here and there.

Now, these perks vary from game to game, but since they do, it's hard to make a blanket statement about one Saturn region release being better than the other. A good example is VF3:TB. That's Dreamcast, but you can see how a U.S. release can sometimes be superior due to the added time before release (V.S. mode, some graphical fixes). SOA is one of the few companies that have this luxury. I've seen others do it (like Namco with Tekken...it usually happens with fighting games), but not to the degree that SEGA does, because they've had some pretty dismal JP releases that were cleaned up for U.S. release.

Then again, the Japanese versions get all the goodies, like extra discs and such. I don't think that makes them any more collectible (I don't believe in collectibility in videogames anyway), but it certainly makes them different, and therefore they can be priced differently.

One man's trash is another man's treasure. So I wouldn't knock the prices...but I'd also be aware of the differences, good and bad, between JP and US Saturn games.

And just so I don't sound too evil, if I had the money, I'd buy a copy of JP X-Mas NiGHTS. It's the same as the U.S. version, really, but you get a jewel case, and it's really pretty. Sparkly. Nice.

Someday I'd like to try that game on a big ol' plasma, in widescreen mode. But I digress...
