Which would you rather own...

I want to see what you guys would rather have, and drive.

None of the "I'd take the Ferrari and sell it to get 5 Skylines"

I've owned nothing but Nissans the last 10 years. This should be easy :tickled:

ok, this is going to sound crazy, but I'd rather be seen in a Skyline. It's a fucking manimal. Looks like a beast of prey.

Pic of the skyline please.
Are we talking the tried and true jap car or the watered down bastard child for the new U.S. launch?

I would probably take a maserati spyder over both to tell you the truth.

Ferrari 360 Modena or Spider, doesn't matter. I'd pick it over the Skyline anyday.

Skyline all the way. Wait, we're talking R32, 33, 34, right? Then yeah. This car is godly.

Plus, a lot more people would be left guessing what the hell it is. Not the case with a Ferrari. Shit, people don't even know my Spec is a Nissan. I love it when people ask what it is. Although, I don't much like saying "It's a Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec-V." I just say, "It's a Nissan." I went to get chinese food the other night and while I was waiting I saw a girl walking around my car, I would imagine looking for a sign of what the maker of it is. I just get a kick out of that.

Ferrari

...but I'd either want the F-40 Ferrari {below}

Or the old 308 GTS model that Magnum P.I. drove around Hawaii in.

Those were really the only two types I liked that Ferrari ever put out. The Skyline is nice, but how is this really a question? Only thing that would suck though is that just saying the name Ferrari is over $350 just to have something fixed when things go wrong right there. While the SKYLINE is an upper tier sports car, I don't see it being nearly as expensive for upkeep or the occassional trip to the auto garage.

Still after it's all said and done, I'd have to go with the Ferrari in the end though, and it be really cool to have porn star

Sofia Ferrari with the deal too. :drool_2: *Always wanted her back in the 90s.

Bah, a Ferrari 360 Modena challenge stradel for me, I don't want an overrated R34. An R32 maybe, but not the R34. Besides, the ultimate in import performance is the NSX-R, not the R34.

Although I would pick the McLaren F1 as the ultimate car.

I myself didn't like the Murcielago at first (and I hate the Gallardo), but after a while I learned to love it. Especially when I realized that actually driving a Countach is hell.

The Diablo is an amazing machine, a beast.

The Murcielago is a perfect Italian/German design hybrid.

And the Miura is a classic beauty... aside of it's design flaws.

Talking about classic cars... I've been told that a homeless man sleeps in my '58 Karmann at night, hahahaha -

@ LWK & Mushiki: both the Contach and the earlier Diablo's (no power steering) are a nightmare to drive. They have been destroyed by the test of time.
All reviews have put the new lambo's above all others as far as everything outside of asthetics is concerned.

If you're an attention whore. Get a Delorean. I'll gaurantee you people will stop looking at a Ferrari or a Lambo to eyeball a Delorean if it pulls up.

Ferrari = tired, there are so many Ferrari on the road in LA, they don't turn heads, they are pure cheese. Lamborghini? Shit, you'd get more head turns in a mid to late 90s Lotus Esprit (and save a bundle in the process). Honestly, if we are going to play with these two choices I'd get a Skyline... that's something I would only be semi embarrassed to roll down the street in. I still say I'd take a DB9 over any of the pap thus mentioned. I guess I am just not as vulgar as some of the people on the road...

This week I go on a quest to buy a hybrid car, for the first time in my life my primary vehicle will not be a Nissan and I feel like a traitor, gotta give this one to the Skyline.

i say give me something totally badass and powerful. a 1970 plymouth 'cuda with the 440 hemi. and that sweet 440 paint job with the black triangle and the numbers on the side of the car. i'd want the thing as modded as it can get, totally tricked out, and it'd have to have a badass spoiler on the back. that car i guarantee you will turn heads. not because it's super fast or rare (even though it is fast and a pretty hard find) but because no one sees something like that on the road these days except down in georgia and places like that. it's the car a father tells his son about. the car you spend countless weekends in the garage with. a real man's car.

plymouth-cuda-1970a.jpg

not the one with the black triangle paint job, but in the shade of green i love.

Even if I prefer the style of the 355, the 360 is still an incredible drive. His engine is real gem, the kind of thing you should store in your living room just for the pleasure of watching it. Taking 8000+ RPM in an hand built V8 is an unlimited pleasure.
