guncon2+PStwo+flatscreen tv=NOT WORKING?

i don't have a lcd or plasma screen, it's just one of those flat screen CRTs. it's a panasonic tau 20" if that makes any difference at all.

i'm trying to play time crisis 3, but it won't even let me calibrate the gun. i've tried my old gun, doesn't work either. i've tried plugging that yellow cord into the back tv inputs, the front tv inputs and the inputs on my reciever, no luck.

anyone know what's up.

Read the back of the box... it says some shit on there...

My understanding was light guns only work on "fishbowl" style CRT televisions.

Read the packaging man.

Gameguns don't work on any typw of front projector or "flatscreen" (LCD or Plasma). They only work on CRT direct view sets and rear projection sets (may not work on all pro-jo sets though).

my dreamcast gun works on my toshiba 27 inch flat, but it's not an HDTV.

Yes, it sucks royally. I love TC3, even Ninja Assault and was contemplating getting TC2 and Vampire Nights.

No more, since I can't get it to work on my 52" JVC RPTV. The old gun technology reads the scanlines that's why none of the HDTV will work.

Supposedly, this company made a gun that works with ANY TV, at www.erealgames.com, but it seems to be a hit or miss proposition.

That an't no way in hell that I am going to buy a plasma TV. Those thing have five year at the most life.

I HIGHLY doubt that direct view CRT sets will stop being made within the year.
Companies are currently working on shallow depth CRT tubes and will hopefully be able to cut them down to 1/2 to 3/4 theier current depth.

From what I've heard is that the problem of recycling the old CRT.
I just hope it's a BS.
I want to play those games with gun, not controller :blow_top:

Would about the toshiba 52-inch big screen TV
that I own?. I can't use the guns but my older
brother, sisters, cousins or my moms boyfriend
can play while I'll use a hand controller. I only
own Time Crisis II, Vampire Night & House of
the Dead 2 but I do want to get Ninja Assault,
Time Crisis 3 & House of the Dead III soon
