DVD Player recommendations?

I'm looking for a small, clean-looking stand-alone DVD player - S-Video or component video would be nice, multi-region capability would also be good.

Anyone have recommendations for me? I'm not really looking for a top-of-the-line ultra high level player, but I'd rather not have something that'll break on me in a few months either.

Help or suggestions?

Any ideas, people? I guess I'll just locally pick up an el-cheapo one, but if anybody can recommend a particular model, I'd like to hear it.

Here's a nice link that you could specify your needs and out pop the players.

Usuaully, the more it does, the cheaper it is......heh (Like svcds, vcds, mp3 playback, dvd+/- rs, etc)

anyhow - check it out

Zenith DVB 318 should do the trick.

It can be hacked to be region free, has 1080i upconvert capability (in both DVI and component). Nice all around player, I want to get one too just for those 2 capabilities alone.

If you want a really cheap/vanilla type player, get a Toshiba SD-3980 player, or a cheap Panasonic. They both work great, no frills type player.
