About Steam Hearts

Couple questions about the game: how do you all like it? Worth picking up for
$70-$100? Saturn version or PCE version? Other thoughts?

A good friend of mine worships the game so speaking on his behalf, you'd be an idiot not to!!!

Haven't played those versions of the game but I have tried the adult PC-98 version.

I'd guess those would be identical to the PC-98 version, minus the porn stuff.

I found a review for the PCE version, and the sex-at-the-end-of-level cutscenes are supposedly all in there. I'm guessing they're in the Saturn version as well.

The game actually sounds really good, I'm leaning toward picking up whichever I find cheaper assuming they're equal. Neo Bomberman has both on his site - very tempting!

Actually, I should have said I've played a version of the game that came with the Steam Hearts Perfect Collection CD, which basically is a CD with a bunch of CG illustrations from the PC and PCE games.

I'm not too sure if the Saturn version will retain the porn though. Advanced V.G., an all female fighting game which is made by the same company that made Steam Hearts (TGL/GIGA), didn't have the sex after the fight CGs from the PC games. Well, it didn't have all three CGs for each girl. Just one CG for each and the CG itself was censored compared to what it actually looks like in the PC games.

Yeah, that's what I was wondering. Sounds like the Saturn version may be edited... so I'll probably get the PCE one.

I'm not a big fan of the game in truth. I've played the Saturn version and the pc engine rev. Most, of the hentai material from the pcengine original has indeed been cut from the Saturn title.
