KOF 2000 Japanese/English

My question, and I'm new to the forums so if I posed in the wrong place, I apologize, is this: If I buy a Japanese KOF 2000 cart and play it on a modded Neo Geo that has the BIOS update, can I play it in English?

you can play it in english without the mod update also. just pick english as your language in the options menu. most the newer neo carts allow you to choose english as your language in options.

Now all we need is somone to scan and post the NFG english manual, so we can READ the damn thing...

True, True. Well, I suppose someone could experiment with the game enough to create a manual for it. I know I would if someone would offer me a free cartridge in exchange... hehehe that was funny.
