I can't seem to perfrom Terry's S.Power DM or his P.Power DM at in Real Bout on the Neo. I can do the power geyzer no problem on a PS2 controller when I'm playing KOF2000/2001 and KOF2002/2003. Can anyone give me some advice about this? I can't even pull it off one time!

The commands for Terry's S or P power DMs are:

S-Power:

qcb,db,f+BC

P-Power

qcb,db,f+C

It's important NOT to do a qcf instead of the db,f or else the DMs won't come out. They have to be done quite precisely and quickly.

Also remember that for the S-Power, the energy bar must be flashing OR your power gauge must be full, and for the P-Power, energy bar must be flashing AND your power gauge must be full.

I can't do it. I always end up doing a burning knuckle or a round wave. I keep thinking it's the button timing. Everytime I press the button(s) a moment later than I usually do, I just end up doing a round wave. If I do it too soon, I do a burning knuckle. I can do this movement on a PS2 controller, and I can do Andy's DMs in Real Bout on the Neo Controller no problem, so I'm not an amuteur. I just don't get why it's so difficult in this case.

If you're doing a round wave, you're just doing the movement wrong. Sorry. It means you're probably doing qcb, hcf. You need to go from db STRAIGHT to f. There should be no way a round wave could come out. You'd have to have the joystick at d and df at some point, which is incorrect.

All I can say is that Terry's S- and P-Powers have to be pulled off very fast, faster than, say, Ryo's Ranbu or similar DMs in KoF.

Try using it after a crouching C or D. It's easier to combo into the DMs than pulling it off stand-alone, at least for me

I'm going to sound like a complete asshole if I say I've never once had the slightest problem with Power or Triple Geyser in RBFF, any more than in any other Fatal Fury, and that I never noticed it being any harder in this game.

So I won't say that. Best of luck to you, and stick with it.

if we were talking duck king i might sympathize, but yeah, terry's geyser's are pretty lenient motion-wise.

Wow, this thread is still here. I've been able to perfrom the PG in Real Bout, Fatal Fury Special, and just about every other game. Thanks for all your help, people! Much Respect. Peace.
