For the next KOF, some teams should be exempt

Call me crazy, but I think that a majority of teams should be taken out for the next KOF (not including MI2). I think for the next evolution of KOF that SNK should move forward and take out quite a few teams and characters; the Korean team, the Ikari Warriors team, etc...they should just move on for now and create new characters. It's been interesting to see them evolve over the years, but I'm tired of Joe and Terry, no matter how awesome they are.

KOF has been happening for nearly a decade now, and we haven't even seen the characters age in the slightest; I'd like to see a whole load of new crews duking it out. I'm tired of the Kyo/Iori rivalry and playing with the same guys from 9 years ago.

Fatal Fury evolved and became Mark of the Garou; it introduced new characters and a new look for Terry while improving on the gameplay formula and introducing a great story. How many of you were disappointed when you first heard that only Terry would be returning in MOTG? See how that turned out...

Hell, I wouldn't even mind if Rock Howard was in the next KOF. Just take out a good number of KOF staples through the years and I'll be glad to see some sort of change; it's time for a KOF game to be considered a full-fledged sequel instead of an update.

Maybe I'm the only one that would like to see this, but I'm interested in what others have to say as well.

no shit

I think this team would be dope, Adelheid, Rock and maybe some other guy.

Let's kick Kyo out & make Terry the star!

Why in the hell would you want them -- now that they've moved to hardware with greater memory capacity -- to take teams out? You'd rather they take teams out than have them add more teams to the current roster? Don't be a jackass. I've got a better idea: Why don't you go play a different game? That's what it sounds like you want to do, anyway.

And what is MOTG? Please tell me you are not trying to say 'Mark of the Garou'. That would be too sad, and I'm not in the mood to feel sorry for you.

The english name is Garou: Mark of the Wolves
The japanese name is Garou: Mark of the Wolves

Why would you call it Mark of the Garou? That makes no sense.

Garou translates to Wolf, so I've always liked to refer to it that way..no biggie, just an online mannerism of mine.

Change is good; I just think it's high time a new generation of heroes* came in.

Ookami = wolf
Garou = hungry wolf

Garou Densetsu = Legend of the Hungry Wolves = Fatal Fury

Garou: Mark of the Wolves = known game
Mark of the Garou = nonexistent game

I wouldn't lose any sleep if I never saw a team consisting of Billy and Yamazaki ever again.

Same with the Kim and Ikari teams.
