Call me crazy, but I think that a majority of teams should be taken out for the next KOF (not including MI2). I think for the next evolution of KOF that SNK should move forward and take out quite a few teams and characters; the Korean team, the Ikari Warriors team, etc...they should just move on for now and create new characters. It's been interesting to see them evolve over the years, but I'm tired of Joe and Terry, no matter how awesome they are.
KOF has been happening for nearly a decade now, and we haven't even seen the characters age in the slightest; I'd like to see a whole load of new crews duking it out. I'm tired of the Kyo/Iori rivalry and playing with the same guys from 9 years ago.
Fatal Fury evolved and became Mark of the Garou; it introduced new characters and a new look for Terry while improving on the gameplay formula and introducing a great story. How many of you were disappointed when you first heard that only Terry would be returning in MOTG? See how that turned out...
Hell, I wouldn't even mind if Rock Howard was in the next KOF. Just take out a good number of KOF staples through the years and I'll be glad to see some sort of change; it's time for a KOF game to be considered a full-fledged sequel instead of an update.
Maybe I'm the only one that would like to see this, but I'm interested in what others have to say as well.
