Shao Khan Is The Cheapest Fighting Game Boss EVER...

... at least until I got to Jinpachi in Tekken 5. It's like freaking impossible to beat this guy! I am able to win a round, but when I do, Jinpachi goes on a full-cheese mode. There's this one combo he does that takes off half your lifebar, and there's no way in hell you can escape the slams and throws he does in that combo. And then there's that goddamn projectile that takes off about 80 percent of your lifebar. You miss or get a move blocked... please insert coin to continue. Thanks, Namco, for ruining my love for this game...

No argument on the Shao Khan thing... or on TEKKEN 5's "cheese factor".

If anyone can give me pointers on how to beat him, and I do, I might change my mind. I use Anna, btw...

I have no idea about the Tekken 5 thing, but Shao Khan was one of the easiest bosses ever. Block his fireballs, but if he charges then lower your guard and let him hit you. You will recover first... retaliate with a crouching HP (uppercut), which will always hit and knock him down. While he's down, run up to him and crouch next to him. Wait until he's getting up, and time your next uppercut to land just as he reaches the standing position. If you time that correctly, it will always hit him as well. Keep repeating until he is dead.

How many fighting game bosses can be consistently beaten while taking just one hit from them?

Yea I found Kintaro tougher to beat than Shao Kahn.

Agreed... unless you are using Kitana, Kintaro is a dick.
