Fave Valis game & which system

Yay how interesting

What Valis game is ure favourite, and for what system?

Gotta be Valis III for me (just from IV) on PCE CD, Megadrive version runs it 90% as good imo.

Likewise for me, much love for Valis III. I'm gonna have to go with the TG16 CD version over the Genesis one.

Naah man Lena was a hottie, it's just that VALIS 4 {espeically on the SFC} just didn't have that "Pizzaz" power, IMHO of course, that the first three did. By the time we got passed Yuko transcending humanity to become a Goddess, I guess the bar was just raised a bit too high for me. I think they {Telenet Japan} spent more time with fleshing out the back story for Yuko than they did with Lena. They just kind of introduced us to her and then throw us out into this new adventure. Whereas I'd grown fond of Yuko and her plight with her fight {I'm not spoiling it for anyone} with her best friend in #1, to Cham and the other girls joining in. Lena was just sent out to the wolves.

I've long wanted to see like a new high res 2-D game like VALIS: The Blood Diaries where we get to play in several different time frames, begining with Yuko's mother when she fought against the evil forces prior to Rogles destroying everything... {I think it was Rogles in #1, I know Megas was #2, I forget a bit of this} then kind of intersplicing that with a story where Lena must team up with Yuko who's come back from her Goddess Absolution back into human flesh once more due to a rift in the "Harmony" set forth by her in #3. That'll probably never happen though.

~Yes I'm a big fan of the series though I don't own any of the games anymore. I do know there was a fan made VS. FIGHTING game for the PC made by some Japanese guy sometime back, but I dunno if he ever finished it.

MERCENARY X99

I've only played the PCE versions and Valis 3 has got to be my favorite. Great soundtrack. The parts of the game where you have to freeze enemies and use them as a platform gets frustrating sometimes, but it's still an awesome platformer.

I only have Valis & Valis III for the Sega Genesis.

I played Super Valis IV on the Super Nintendo.

I never played any of the PC Engine games of
the Valis games. I need to play Valis II but I
can never find a copy of the game.

I like the Valis games in this order.

PCE version.
Valis IV
Valis III
Valis I
Valis II

I'm sorry i never care for the "Genesis or the SNES" version of Valis.

Are Valis, Valis II, Valis III, Valis IV & Syd of Valis
Hu-Cards or CD games?. I am going to buy
Syd of Valis for the Sega Genesis soon.

CD only as for Syd Valis that's only on the Genesis.

I can probably play the CD games on my
Super CD-Rom 2 attachment hooked up
to my Core Grafx which the CD attachmet
is region free. D-Lite is modding my Core Grafx
because he has it right now & will mod it this
week. I better track down
the Valis CD games soon.
