I know I'm an idiot for saying this, but given the nature of the Gumby character, it could at least allow for some interesting gameplay elements.

I used to be a fan of the Gumby show... but a video game?

Well, I guess it could turn out better than I am assuming.

Well, if done right, a Gumby platformer could be pretty decent. Perhaps the Klonoa dev team, if they're still around, should give it a shot?

For some reason, the Katamari engine comes to mind when discussing a potential Gumby platformer. Perhaps the same dev team could work some magic there.

Now imagine a game where youre gumby jumping from book to book, walking into pictures in the wall, etc.

If I had money I'd give it to the 1st person that could photoshop a decent Gumby w/ guns ablazing. That would kick major ass.
