Greetings.

I have encountered an unusual thing on my 6F.
Note the cartridge layout below:

Dscn0484.jpg

If I power up the system and leave it running, it will happily demo all of the games in the correct order with no problems.

If however, I play Metal Slug, die and then let the demo's run, the sound will disappear entirely when KOF 2000 starts to demo.

The sound will not return for any of the games until I power off and on again.

I have the UniBIOS v2.0 installed and the 'soft reboot' option does not bring the sound back either. Only a complete power cycle.

This happens every time I try it with the games in this order. If I swap Metal Slug and KOF '95 around, it does not happen.

Is this normal?

Does it pose any threat?

Any opinions would be welcome, guys.

Ahh. I see this is a well documented problem (probably should have searched more  )

It appears that this phenomenon, although undesireable, cannot damage the system.

I shall rejoice in that knowledge. :tickled:

Many thanks.

rearranging the order of carts may help.

Hi ttooddddyy.

Yes. I put the older games in the first three slots (MS, Pulstar and Blazing Star)
Ond newer ones in the last three (98, 99 and 2000) and everything is right with the world. :)

I doubt that is the definitive solution though.

with multi slots the cart selection slot order is at best finiky, its a matter of trial and/or error
