you should contact them over their new kits. I just bought a brand new WR for only 50 (bps).

This seems like a good time to buy a Buriki One kit.

Hopefully they can ship to the US without too much trouble.

I've had horrid luck with shipping overseas to/from England.

Prices are so cheap it seems a shame not to take this chance to buy myself my firts HNG64, but it looks too big and bulky for me anyway... I can't really stand anymore pre-Dreamcast 3D games. I guess I'll pass on them, I would hardly play them anyway.

I e-mailed VL about shipping, and he said that one cart to U.S. is 13.50 British Pounds. Figuring an exchange rate of roughly 1.9 dollars = 1 pound (to be on the safe side), that would be about $25 U.S. Seems pretty fair for how big and bulky those are.

I know what you mean about shipping hassles from the U.K., though. Last thing I bought from across the pond was an MVS Shock Troopers, took right at 12 days to get to Colorado.

Bought two carts in the Vektorlogic auction. Jeff seems like a very helpful guy so far.

He's a member here, I think, but I don't see him active too often. Anyone else in the states win carts in the auction and use a creative method for payment? I sent him my cc info in three separate e-mails.

I ordered some stuff from Ultimarc, they sent it DHL and I got it in under a week. Might've been 3 days even

You may have missed this part of the auction:

No kit to that, though I'm guessing they still have the kits as well...

You got me there. I don't know why I typed that as I'd only be interested in buying a cart only anyways (unless the kit was the same price).

He can be... forgetful... at times. I contacted him about the bundle deal (HNG64 rev. 2 mobo and all 4 fighters, brand new) and paid relatively quickly. He said he'd ship next day... so I waited for a week... nothing. I emailed him... nothing. Waited another week. Emailed again. Got a story about how EMS fucked up the box and it was returned to him, supposedly mine went out that day. 3 days later, success.

He doesn't seem like someone who would steal your money, but he's not the greatest to deal with either if you are looking for something in a timely fashion.

Oh, I wasn't trying OWN you or anything, I just wanted to point that out, hopefully before you bought, if you had thought you were getting a kit. Since you knew what you wanted and got it right, no big deal.

My Buriki cart came on Friday, managed to get a few hours out of it so far.

IMHO, the gfx are by far the best of the 64 fighters.

Pretty good game, although controls will take some getting used to

I love Buriki, it can get pretty deep too in terms of combos. The gfx are great, just wish there was more than one arena.

Yeah, I remember a thread or two from a while back in which similar problems were discussed. Seems that he does always get the items shipped, just takes a little while sometimes.

I knew that full well when I bought the two carts- for that price I don't mind if it takes a bit of extra time to get them. I never expect items shipped from GB to the U.S. to get here fast, anyway.

I finished mailing them asking for prices of the rev.2 mobo and all 4 games... Including shipping to Spain, I can everything boxed brand new with extras for 170 GBP, or everything loose for 130 GBP. Since room is a problem for me, and I don't really care about complete kits, I think I'm finally going to get the stuff loose. Any thoughts?
I have a friend with all games except Buriki One that would buy it from me if I finish not liking it or I prefer to unload a to recover a part of the investment.

If room is a problem, I would say that you are making the right choice with loose carts. They take up a pretty good amount of room on their own, let alone the full kit.

That's one problem with the loose carts, though- they are a bitch to store. They aren't shaped in a way that makes them easy to store on a shelf. I actually store mine in a cardboard box with bubble wrap; elegant huh?

I would probably say go ahead with the loose carts. They're so sturdy that you shouldn't ever have a problem with condition, and saving the money won't hurt anything!

Yay the kit showed up.

Little disapointed with his shipping means (the box was thrown into a big bubble rap envelope that only had a thin layer). The game looks fine and everything is there. Only disapointment is the box is a little bent around the corners.

now i just need some time to hook it up.

Have fun with it, subbie!

Post some impressions once you get into it a little bit. Curious to see what you think.

Got my carts!

Yay, I got my carts from VL today! Fairly reasonable shipping time, actually, coming from Great Britain and all. Both carts are in great condition, too, no scratches anywhere. Movelist, instructions, etc. for SS64.

FF:WA is a little strange. I had forgotten how different it feels from the 2-D versions.

Overall, I'd say SS64 is the far better game. Nice job with the true 3-D and ring boundaries and the like.

Very happy with the purchase, I'd recommend Vektorlogic to anyone.
