difference between metal slug 2 and x

Hi,

Am I right in thinking that mslugx is just an enhanced version of mslug2.

If so, in what way is it enhanced.

Both games are cool - Metal Slug X looks like a finished game of Metal Slug 2. There are more enemies in X.

MSX not only has mummied humans, but also mummied dogs, and the space crafts appear as early as stage 4, vs last stage on MS2.

i played msx a few months ago,and i think
it's a little bit more difficult.

snk changed the background colors of the stages.

As was said, there is less slow down, but I think that this is the most important part. The slowdown in 2 was horrible at times... maybe it is just me, but I think X is the game 2 should have been... almost like 2 was an early beta build. If you don't have either one, buy X... if you have 2 already, buy 3
