Man, I played this game all the time back in the early 90s. Very very fun game. I loved using that yoyo to kick some ass as well as that baseball bat.

I really love those old NES game boxes. Especially the art on most of them. anyone remember Fabio on the Wizards and Warriors 2 game? That ruled.

A friend of mine lent it to me way back in elementary school and it rocked my socks off. Never got to finish it though. I would read the strategy guide for the sequel in one of my Nintendo Powers and thought how rad it must be.

I got Star Tropics, and I haven't even played it once.

I hate my NES. I feel a bit bad about that, because it's the first console I got for myself, and we've been through so much together. But ever since I started buying used games, the connector has been problematic, and I hate going through all that.
So I'm gonna AV mod my Top Loader as soon as I get the right screwdrivers, and Star Tropics and I will be the best of friends, and my old NES will miss my company. :((

..I should get it a new connector, just to make it up.

I think I wanted that game so bad when I was little.

I might have to pull out the nes when I get home for summer break
and get this.

I borrowed Startropics from a friend in 1990
& I played it. It was a very good game which
I haven't beaten yet. I am going to buy 1&2
online at EB.Games soon. :kekeke: ;)

Just take your NES apart and take the connector off the board. Then take a small flathead screwdriver and pry the pins back up together where they used to be. Your carts will fit VERY snug at first but work every time.

I had a new pin connector put in my
original Nes & it works like new but
some cartridges are hard to pull out
though. You have to make sure to
clean the Nes cartridges before putting
it in the Nes first. ;)

Their is not as much flashing or blinking
with the new pin connector. :D :kekeke:
I have to check again because it is packed
away right now. :kekeke:

You should just get a Top Loading Nes of
a Neo Fami System. ;) :kekeke:

Sounds like a good idea. I'm going to have to try that. Thanks a lot.
If it helps me renew my relationship with my NES, I'll be sure to think of you, when I have my next intimate session with Startropics.

Word! I had to have the counter jockeys at the local video store pour the water on the letter when i was a kid. They all looked at me like i was insane. The look on their faces was awesome!!
Which reminds me I always hated the rental places that never included the manual fuckers!!
