Nintendo to reveal next-gen system at E3

So Nintendo wants to play ball after all. There were alot of rumors of them bowing out of the hardware market, but I guess not. To bad E3 is 4 months away.

For fuck's sake they need to just call that system the Hyper Famicom {ala' Loopz's suggestion} and drop the whole REVOLUTION thing. It just sounds fucking gay. Ontop of that, you've got to love how literally every company calls their newest system before it's release a "Paradigm Shift". I mean I've lost count how many times I've heard that comment and each time nothing really new happens except that the graphics look a little bit more closer to reality than previously. A paradigm shift will be when we can interface the games with the sensorium of thought, and a V.R. Holo-Dec construct transforms our whole damn room into something Matrix-esque, and where you can feel pain, taste the food and feel the pleasures of fucking a virtual slut. Until then all claims of Paradigm Shift are bogus.

I can't say that I'm too surprised that Nintendo is finally going to show their new console at E3. But I'm very interested in what they have to offer.

I wouldn't count it as cheating personally. *Remember that'll be the day we can use the old complaint a lot of women have used traditionally, about us not being able to grow up and that they're "Just games". Well that day we can send it right back at em.

they always said they weren't going out of the console market... not sure why there was even a rumor.

They stated that 2 years ago when the hype monkeys started saying Nintendo was done in the console race.

surely the interface will be stylus operated or something along those lines - something like the bottom DS screen mixed with GBA/Gamecube connectivity. I mean it would explain why they put so muCh emphasis on connectivity, trying to swing public attention and warming things up. wireless is the way to go though. definetly. NO MORE WIRES!
