Free is free.....but, it's a "digital subscription". If I had a laptop with a wireless connection maybe I would sign up. But since I don't, I wouldn't have anywhere else to read it :crying:

I actually had this from the last free EGM subscribtion. They said something about running out of actual subscriptions due to an overwhelming demand or something and offered me this instead. I ended up getting two issues and that was it. After that the program kept telling me I didn't have anything new to download, so after about four months I just got rid of the damn thing.

I havent looked through an issue of EGM in about a year. I didnt think they could possibly get shitter.. Man was I wrong.

I didn't get the free subscription they promised me from last time, digital or otherwise. I guess I'll continue to rip open the plastic bag and look through it while in line at the market (then shove it in front of the National Enquirers when it's my turn to pay).

I did the digital subscription thing just for the hell of it, and it works right away (even for us Mac people), but it's such a pain in the ass way to read a magazine. I doubt I'll bother with it from now on. Cool freebie though.
