When fighting games were alive at the arcade, what was the longest you've sent challenger after challenger to the bill changer out of vengeance and got a nice crowd of about 10-15 onlookers? What games did you play and who did you use?

My log:
Marvel vs. Capcom 2 ( 55 wins, Magneto/Sentinel/Cyclops, heh I hate Cable )
Street Fighter Alpha 3 (23 wins. A-Rolento)
King of Fighters 2000 (15 wins. Terry/Maxima/Kyo)
Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter (34. Spiderman & Cyclops)
SvC Chaos (28, Geese Howard)
Guilty Gear XX (24 wins, Chipp Zanuff, another time 16 with Faust)

Oh about 3-4 matches on any fighter.

PS: I'm amazing at fighting games.

My best ever was 45 wins at Tilt on Super SF2 back in the winter of 1993.
Had a shitload of shoto scrubs dying at the hands of my vicious Vega.
Was quite a fun afternoon.
Ended the streak in true style, by beating the game. Roll the credits, please.

longest streak... 74 wins on Marvel vs. Capcom 2. Don't remember the exact team I was using, but it definitely had Bulleta in it. (this was a few months after the game came out and nobody was abusing top-tier shit and making the game a snorefest). Also had somewhere between 65-70 wins on another instance but can't remember the exact number.

honorable mentions:

62 wins on SF3 2nd Impact with Sean
57 wins on SF3 New Generation with Alex
56 wins on Mortal Kombat 1 (various characters)
49 wins on King of Fighters '97 using unedited Team Japan... I was using them since I hadn't seen their ending yet, but people kept joining in, lol.

Not really an arcade, but when I had my supergun at the city-level Houston Science and Engineering Fair last year, I had a 25-ish winning streak in KOF 99 (Maxima, Takuma, Kasumi, ST. Random) against a bunch of mainstreamers my age. A few weeks before, at the school-level Fair, I got about 15 wins with Kyo+2 Randoms until it was lunchtime and I had to go :P.

There is NOTHING like showing off your Neo to the eager masses :).

if you give me a few lines I can go for 8 hours, but after that point, the woman's life is in jeopardy and I have to stop.

26 wins in a row on VF4 with Lau.

23 wins in a row on Tekken 3 with Howrang (I'm not sure its 23 exact, but it was in the 20's and below 25).

12 wins in a row on Samurai Shodown II with ChamCham.

That's all I can remember, mainly because those where the only times I had crowds. Yeah, good times back in the day. Can hardly find anyone to play these days, always just me and the CPU.

When Samurai Showdown 3 first came out I got a streak of about 34 if I remember correctly. Sad thing was I still did not know about the combo system and it was these same two guys who kept switching off trying to beat me. They had some little FAQ they had printed off and were furiously trying to memorize it between rounds. The one guy got so angry after I owned him for the 20th time with Galford he tried to start a fist fight. Sad day for them, amusing story for me!

119 - KOF98 (Kensou, Blue Mary and Kim)

That was just with using my feet too.

While getting a BJ.

Playing upside-down.

With a knife stuck three inches into my right calf muscle.

You really like the big guys in fighting games, huh :D

I was never really good with those types of characters, except with Shigen in Last Blade. My win streak for that doesn't count though cause I was just owning my friends on my AES :p

Yeah kafuin_gaira kinda reminds me of Mike Z, y'all prolly heard of him. He loves those fighting game behemoths.

The last Otakon I went to Mike Z was owning up a storm on those top tier whores with Juggernaut on MvC2. Another time on GGXX he mopped ppl up with Potemkin.

Let's take a step into the way-back machine:

Shin Samurai Spirits: 4 hours straight (don't remember the fight count, it was 1994 man!)

Last Blade: 76 matches (then the place closed)

More modern:

GGXX #Reload: Top tier in Battle opera.
