If he is 41,he should have the cart.

He bought it having the money in 1996 for each new neo release and was not charmed by playstation ending up losing interest into neo geo.

That seems a legit scenario to me.

Seems legit to me too.

Seriously, this game has more hype than anyother in the Euro form - your mailbox was destined to get flooded to moment you posted it for sale. It would have happened to anyone.

Wolfgang,

Take your time... I sent you a PM... check your Pm box when you have a change, ok?

I just had a couple questions for you.

Thanks!

This manual text is confirmed to be accurate. I am unable to find discrepancies in his picture, and so far everything appears to be SNK authentic.

Looking forward to seeing the manual pic(s) as well.

As FTL says, buy with caution. If not picking up in person go with FedEx International Priority mail shipping (fully insured) and hope to God customs doesn't mess with your package. I've had customs open packages and crease inserts.

Call me crazy, but I dont think this is that big of a deal.
For every one European like Wolfgang who
1. finds out what he has
2. figures he wants to sell it
3. finds his way to this site
There are probably hundreds of rich people in Europe with no interest in the neogeo resale or fan market who have had this game on their shelf for years.

Make no mistake, there are undoubtedly *at least* hundreds of copies out there. What turns up in public is a small fraction of the total cart pool.

Amen to that.

Well, I really hope the $5,000+ offered is worth it to the eventual buyer. There are so many more worthy causes you could put $5,000 towards... a few bits of plastic and paper are not amongst them. Some of you people make me want to weep... very sad... oh_no oh_no oh_no

Word.

$5000+ for a video game? Yeah right maybe in another lifetime. I wouldn't even waste the money on it.

Just so I can say I have "Euro Kizuna".

Fuck that.

Some of you folks really need to get off this hype and look at the situation logically.

$5000 for a video game...a fucking video game.

Repeat that a few times then let it sink in your mind instead of giving into the impulse buying.

I don't give a fuck how "rare" it is.

No video game is worth $5000. There is a limit to what is sane, and insane. Whoever pays that much for this game needs to go get their head examined by a shrink.

You realize, of course, that once the scans are posted, this will be the last time that we'll be able to verify that a Euro Kizuna is authentic.

Got that right.

Hey kids, it's called the stock market.

It actually is a long term investment that's worth the time and effort if you know what you are doing.

Stock.

Market.

Lots more money to be made there than the wonderful world of Neo Geo.

There are only two things that I like more than Neo Geo :

F*@k|ng Chicks and Playing Guitars.

That I can have for free. wink

So I can spend whatever I want on a cart ( As long as I have as many to cover the asked price! ) smirk

I don't know... you ask people that question today... You might get a different answer.

My stocks were worth a lot.. now they are not. Although my dividends are buying some good shares right now :)

good point! i guess just show one or 2 pages to have other pages to verify in the future since other people claim these things will come popping out of the woodworks now

I'll never be in the market for such a game, but I don't understand why people would be sad about such a thing.

I'm happy to see this kind of excitement - so many other retro game markets (Turbo, for example) seem to be fading - the games are still fun, but it's just not the same...

Even if it means prices on certain carts rise to the point that I wouldn't even consider buying them, I hope there's always this kind of interest and excitement about Neo Geo stuff...
